300 SMS School Students Recruited by Wetix to Operate Ticketing for the Largest Global Sports Event in 2024
As part of the global sports event taking place in Paris in 2024, the Sports Management School and 300 of its students have been selected to participate in the ticketing management of the event. The students will collaborate as ticket operators to welcome millions of spectators throughout the competition. At the dawn of this event, SMS is offering its students a unique opportunity to be a part of it!
The program comprises four key actions:
- Pedagogical Support: Six 1.5-hour modules delivered by a Wetix speaker to SMS students on ticketing-related topics, along with a practical case or thesis theme to be supervised.
- Specific Training provided on-site before the mission by ticketing managers in Paris in 2024.
- On-site Deployment: Positions in stands, at entrances, or at ticketing points, with roles starting either 7 days or 1 day before the first events depending on the assigned position and site.
- Additional Benefit: Engagement of a student in an apprenticeship at Wetix for one year starting from the 2023 academic year, focusing on project management!
Finally, a dedicated seminar for all SMS students will be organized by the MBA 2 - Marketing and Events Specialty. They will work on organizing an Olympic week, including hosting students from Lausanne, site visits, conferences, and sports activities.
